Shortly after having three children, our Founder and Fitness Trainer Pam Newman realized working in New York City’s Corporate America was not going to fit her lifestyle. She loved her life of fitness and decided to completely immerse herself in the industry. She was inspired by a group fitness instructor many years ago. This fitness trainer had empowered Pam and made her feel as though she could achieve her fitness goals- little by little, by doing just a bit more, every day. Pam wanted to be that inspiration for others in the future. In addition to realizing that personal fitness goals do not occur overnight, Pam also realized that fitness career goals occur over time as well. She did not know exactly where it would lead, but Pam always dreamed of owning her own studio. Over the course of 15+ years, she worked at numerous top gyms in New Jersey- such as The GYM, New York Sports Club, and the JCC, along with the best boutique fitness studios such as SLT- gaining experience and working with great people at every stop.

Pam continues to teach, train and inspire many women, men and teens. Her certifications include: Group Exercise, Strength Training, HIIT, Mat Pilates, Boxing, KickBoxing, Barre, Spin, TRX, and Pilates Reformer.

Pam pride’s herself on being innovative, and that includes her studio equipment along with the workouts she will bring to her clients. She combines Terra Fitness Trainers, Kettlebells, Sand Bags, Ropeless Jump Ropes, Dumbbells, Body Bars, Bands, the Barre and of course heart pumping tunes to go with it all. Body Rock Fitness Studio in Teaneck New Jersey focuses on small group training and classes that are tailored to the individual needs of her clients.
